Position Profile:
Arconic Forgings and Extrusions (AFE) is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to provide global support for the company. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with a hands-on style who is motivated, organized, energetic and wants to showcase their skills and abilities in highly visible HR position with the AFE HR Team. This position is located in the BU offices of Lafayette, Indiana.

Essential duties:
Design, generate and distribute new, routine or special request reports and analyses for various HR related matters from several different systems and resources, in the areas of Headcount, Turnover, Divers ity, Recruiting Process, Training, Mentoring, Succession Planning and Performance Management for AFE HR Management, BU President, and EPS Leaders.

Responsibilities include maintenance and administration of the employee databases, including: HRIS, Performance Management, Talent Management, Compensation, and Reward & Recognition programs

Maintain highly accurate data in all relevant Human Resource databases and the internal HR portal website.

Act as subject matter expert for all HRMS inquiries from locations and manage user security, workflow management, org changes, mass changes and other table maintenance.

Responsible for management of AFE Intern program in coordination with Hiring Managers and University Relations CoE.

Responsible for the onboarding, transitions, and exiting of AFE BU employees in coordination with Hiring Managers and the Talent CoE.

Responsible for Business Unit HR ASAT and compliance objectives, internal audit system.

P articipate in Compensation Process including: Performance Based Increase, Incentive Compensation on a global basis.

Assist in implementation and administration of company HR policies, procedures and programs.

Deploy Global Voices Survey (employee opinion survey) for AFE including education, metrics and reporting.

The position includes responsibility to support and facilitate other project work as assigned by the HR executive leadership.

Personnel and Human Resources — Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems.

Evaluating Information to Determine Compliance with Standards — Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.

Confidentiality/Discretion — ability to discern what is and maintain confidential information, spoken and written.

Clerical/Technology — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as; managing files and records, designing forms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work — Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

Active Learning — Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.

Monitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.

Service Orientation — Actively looking for ways to help people.

Communicating with Internal and External Stakeholders — Providing information to people inside the organization at all levels representing the HR Department and outside the organization, representing the organization to; customers, the public, government, and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

2 years of Human Resources work experience

E mployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
