Job Description

The Video Teller will respond to both member and potential member needs with high quality service. This includes performing transactions and providing information accurately, professionally, quickly and efficiently, via multiple media channels, with a primary focus on the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) kiosk channel. Must comply with all SAFE Act regulation procedures.

*Employees are expected to demonstrate and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC, CIP, and internal policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

  • Process member transactions accurately, efficiently and timely
  • Provide account information to members
  • Inform and educate members on products and services offered by the credit union which would benefit the member.
  • Increase member product usage through exchanges and effective relationship building
  • Account maintenance
  • Troubleshoot member questions and concerns.
  • Maintain product knowledge and expertise on Purdue Federal products and services
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate verbally, through video, and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts.

As Assistant Director of Fraternity, Sorority, and Cooperative Life, you would work directly with the fraternity, sorority and cooperative life team at Purdue University. Provide resources, expertise and direction for the Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council, Panhellenic Association, Purdue Cooperative Council member groups, and their chapters’ student leaders. Assist with developing and implementing a community mission, vision, and strategic plan. Design, plan, and assess events and programs that support the educational mission of Purdue University and the co-curricular experience. Provide leadership training on a variety of topics such as academic success, service learning, leadership development, chapter operations, self-governance, health, safety, and recruitment and retention. Serve as a liaison to various campus and community partners, alumni, volunteers, advisors, and house corporation boards. Provide creative marketing and outreach to serve a diverse and vibrant fraternity, sorority, and cooperative community.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Student Personnel, Higher Education, Counseling or related field.
  • Three years of full time employment in a fraternity and sorority life office or in a position specifically working with fraternity and sorority students.
  • A valid US or Canadian driver’s license.
  • Strong skills in advising students and their organizations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, information management and organization.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret University policies and implement risk management/judicial procedures.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships among a diverse population of students, alumni and community partners.
  • Ability to identify problems, analyze information and implement solutions.
  • Ability to integrate student development theory and mission and action congruence into practice.
  • Skills in social media, website, assessment and program development.
  • Proficiency in Office software: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook/Electronic Email.
