U.S. Renal Care is looking for a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for our dialysis facility. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides hemodialysis therapies to patients in chronic renal failure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clean, disinfect, and rinse dialysis machines according to protocol.
  • Obtain pre and post treatment weights of patients per protocols.
  • Safely initiate, monitor and terminate dialysis treatments and properly document per center protocol.
  • Mix acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Confirmation of the ability to distinguish all primary colors
  • Prefer a minimum of 3 months in dialysis healthcare or phlebotomy experience or CNA experience
  • Successfully complete USRC training program within 8 weeks of hire
  • Must obtain National certification within 18 months of hire.

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree in related field and computing skills required. Must have excellent organization skills, maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff and students, and maintain confidentiality.

Job Requirements

Specific qualifications for the role include:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business/project management preferred, or 3 years work experience in quoting and purchasing/supply chain.

Knowledge of manufacturing, quality and production control, and planning processes.

Sourcing/supply chain management experience, project management experience, and knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).

Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer contact skills.

Demonstrates computer skills and aptitude; Microsoft Office preferred with proficiency in Word, and Excel.

Excellent telephone etiquette, attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities.

Effectively set priorities and meet deadlines.

The candidate must possess the ability to talk or hear both in person and by telephone. This position requires the candidate to frequently stand and walk.
